Manuel de Dios (full name Manuel de Dios Unanue) was a Cuban-born US journalist whom had been investigating José Santacruz Londoño and his drug operations in New York.
Manuel was listening to José when he was making a phone call. After a Cali Cartel lab explosion in New York, Manuel reported on the news that José Santacruz Londoño was behind the lab and that he took control of it. During the night-time Manuel encountered him at a restaurant and was asked long it would take to the airport. Manuel replied by saying he did not know. Afterwards, José shot Manuel twice which had resulted in his death.
