Antonia Arévalo was Fermín Arévalo's wife and Lili Arévalo's mother.
In 1986, her son Lili is killed by Pablo Acosta's lieutenant Marco de Haro, and her husband sent an assassin after Acosta, but his efforts were in vain. Acosta stormed into the Arévalo's ranch with de Haro. Fermín hid inside the house and sent her to talk to Acosta.
Acosta told her that he was angry with de Haro for killing her son, but told her that the attempt on his life was a declaration of war, and he wanted to settle things with Fermín. He gave her his gun and gave her permission to shoot him, but she denied. Later that day, her husband and his men try to ambush Acosta, but her husband is killed by Amado Carrillo Fuentes.
