Eduardo Sandoval was a Colombian politician who was the head-of-security for César Gaviria's presidential campaign, and later the Vice Minister of Justice.
He cooperated with the DEA to ensure the safety of his friend Gaviria, and due to his desires of putting an end to Pablo Escobar's atrocities.
He offered to resign, taking blame for the failed raid which resulted in the death of Colonel Horacio Carrillo.
