Gato (died 1992) was a sicario of the Medellín cartel.
In 1992, Judy Moncada splintered from the Medellín cartel, and took many of the cartel's drug labs with her. Pablo Escobar had Gato form a team of over 45 sicarios and sent them to raid and dismantle Moncada's biggest lab.
Judy, acting under Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela's orders, had her gemuk man Diego Murillo Bejarano give away the location of her lab to DEA agent Javier Peña. As a result, the Search Bloc led by Colonel Horacio Carrillo attacked the lab while Gato and his men were inventorying the contents. The ensuing firefight resulted in the arrest of Gato, along with 45 of Escobar's sicarios.
While rest of the sicarios were held at the Carlos Holguin School, Gato and one of his men were transported by helicopter to Bogotá. Carrillo interrogated both of them mid-air, and threw them off the helicopter when they failed to give away the location of either Pablo or Blackie.
