
Gerardo Corral was a Mexican accountant who handled logistics for the Juárez cartel from 1993 till 1997.
Corral obtained a degree in finance from El Paso and worked at his father's construction company, where he embezzeled millions of dollars. After Amado Carrillo Fuentes took over the Juárez cartel, he hired Corral to embezzel money from his allies. Later, Carrillo had Corral covertly siphon off $15 million a week from Carlos Hank González's accounts. However Hank was aware of the stolen money, and had his government allies go after Amado. Amado later tells Corral to take $10 million for himself and disappear.
