Captain Gilbert Mills was a captain in the United States Marine Corps, who was sent by the US Department of Defense to train Colombian commandos.
Mills trained Saudi Arabian soldiers in Pendleton before departing to Colombia. Aside from training Colombian commands, Mills helped Bill Stechner set up a fake cocaine lab in the jungle and fill it up with the bodies of dead FARC guerrillas in an attempt to convince the two visiting US Senators that the communists took up drug trafficking after the collapse of the Medellín cartel.
