Jose Rojas (died 1993) was the chief accountant of the Medellín cartel. Rojas was loyal to his boss Pablo Escobar and continued to support him till his death.
Rojas succeeded Blackbeard as Escobar's chief accountant. After his escape from prison, Escobar met Rojas to receive money to finance his revenge operation against the Colombian police. There, Rojas informed him of the tense situation in the cartel after Judy Moncada and Diego Murillo Bejarano threatened to quit following the death of Judy's husband Gerardo Moncada.
In April 1993, Escobar sent Ricardo Prisco and La Quica to recover one of the last wads of cash belonging to the cartel to finance an operation against the Los Pepes. However, Quica decided to betray Escobar. He killed Rojas and Prisco and fled with the cash, but was apprehended by the DEA.
