Kenny Moss was an American DEA agent stationed in Mexico, as per Operation Leyenda. Operation Leyenda was a illegal and classified special operation of the Drug Enforcement Administration, ordered by Acting Administrator John Lawn.
Kenny was the most morally conscious of the DEA shock team. He refused to take part in the torture of Sergio Espino Verdin and opposed supplying information of Sinaloan traffickers building tunnels in Tijuana to the Tijuana plaza leaders.
He was one of Operation Leyenda DEA agents murded by Guadalajara cartel in ambush at a cartel airfield in Chiapas. After ambush Operation Leyenda was closed and those who took part of killing him, got away without punishment.
