Louis Wysession was a US Marine Corps colonel who was the leader of the Mil Group in Colombia. He led the United States' fight against communism in Colombia.
He was initially apathetic to the DEA's fight against the Colombian drug cartels, and wanted Ambassador Noonan to devote more resources to the fight against communism. After Steve Murphy exposed Pablo Escobar's connections with left-wing guerrillas, Wysession became more involved in the War on Drugs.
